Charles Black is an established, respected Georgia attorney with a focus on business litigation, taxes and bankruptcy.
He began his law practice in Georgia in 1983 with an emphasis on business. He has represented both creditors and debtors in bankruptcy proceedings and has participated as counsel in bankruptcy adversary proceedings and Tax Court.
Charles received his undergraduate degree in 1977 from the University of West Florida, with a major in accounting. He earned his law degree at Woodrow Wilson College of Law in 1980 and was admitted to the Georgia Bar that same year.
In addition, Charles was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1979 in Georgia. He practiced as a CPA from 1977 through 1995. His CPA certificate is currently inactive.
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Charles worked as a staff accountant with a regional CPA firm while attending law school at night. After law school, he was employed as a tax manager with an international accounting firm.
